Before the end of the current month of September we will be moving some servers located in different datacenters into our new facility in downtown Los Angeles, California.
The procedure for the migration will be setting up two newer, faster servers online and moving accounts from one server to another, which thanks to our clustered and distributed DNS system will cause less than 20 minutes scheduled downtime for your website.
This move will allow us to use this new facility located in Downtown Los Angeles at the state of the art Equinix datacenter in 600 W. 7th St, Los Angeles, CA 90017 - this new facility has been chosen for future expansion of our network and services.
The move will take parts in several waves of migration, not all at once. If your website becomes off-line or unreachable for a period longer than 30 minutes, please submit a ticket. This migration is scheduled to begin on September 22nd, 2008 .
