[UPDATE] Shared Hosting :: Server freedom hard-drive issues

We have found the hard drive to be close to failure and we are currently migrating data to a new hard-drive to prevent future data loss.  Disk clone should take about 1 hour, but we are not sticking to an time frame right now. We will update once this issue is finally resolved.

We have identified a current issue on the filesystem of the server freedom, we are taking the server down for filesystem check, if needed we may have to replace the hard-drive we have a spare on hand.  We currently dont have an ETA for completition. We will update once everything is fixed.




Seamless DNS Cluster migration

NavigatorIS is migrating one of its DNS Clusters in-house, to our facility in Los Angeles. Our secondary cluster will still be located in New Jersey.  The DNS migration will take place at 12am 11/20/2008, and the maintenance window is set until 1:30am. This will cause NO disruption in service due to the nature of our DNS cluster. Thanks for your business.

We have found a problem with one of our current switches that deems the hardware to be replaced to avoid any service disruptions in the future. We have located a new switch and will have to configure it and re-route the traffic to it.
